Nolato Medical is strengthening its project management, development and medical technology production resources by bringing together its operations in southern Sweden under a new company, Nolato MediTech AB.
The new company will be formed by merging Nolato Medical Rubber AB and Nolato Medevo AB. In all, the new company will have around 275 employees.
"This merger will create a customer-focused, powerful organisation with combined project resources, uniform working processes and a shared quality system," explains Christer Wahlquist, President of Nolato Medical. "This gives us the ideal conditions for running major customer projects involving large-scale production."
The process of recruiting an MD for Nolato MediTech is currently underway, and is expected to be complete in early 2010. After more than a decade at Nolato, Magnus Emeus – currently MD of Nolato Medical Rubber and Nolato Medevo, and a member of the Group management – has decided to pursue new opportunities outside the Group. He will remain at Nolato until April 2010 at the latest.
