Brief Profile of Dr. Anoop Kumar Mittal

Dr. Anoop Kumar Mittal (Aged:64 years) has completed B.E., Civil Engineering from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Tech., Punjabi University, Patiala in 1982 and has been conferred “Doctor of Philosophy” (Honoris Causa) - Chancellor, Singhania University, by virtue of his attaining eminence in the field of Civil & Construction Engineering.

He is a Senior Construction Industry Veteran, standing rank three among the top civil engineers of India and is having about 40 years of experience in fields of Civil Engineering, Consultancy Real Estate Development, Merger & Acquisitions & Project Management.

He spearheaded NBCC (India) Ltd., the indispensable Engineering arm of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), Govt. of India, as its Chairman-cum- Managing Director (CMD) from 2013 to March 2019.

He is working as an Independent Director in the companies viz. Berger Paints India Ltd., Bharat Aluminium Company Limited (BALCO), Dalmia Cement (North East) Limited, Embassy Office Parks REIT Limited, Universal MEP Projects & Engineering Services Limited (Subsidiary of TATA Group) and Welspun Enterprises, etc.

He is also providing Advisory services to the companies viz.GMR Airports Infrastructure Limited and GREENKO Energies Private Limited.
