In his letter, he has stated that given his current personal and professional engagements & commitments, he is finding it very challenging to do justice in the role of NIIT Director and to attend and contribute in the NIIT meetings.

Mr. Ashish Kashyap has also confirmed that there is no other material reason for his decision other than those mentioned above.
