इस अवसर पर केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्री जेपी नड्डा ने कहा कि तपेदिक का अब तक चुनौती बने रहने का एक मुख्य कारण इस रोग के अनुसंधान में धन की कमी है। उन्होंने इस बीमारी के उन्मूलन के लिए नई साझेदारी की जरूरत पर जोर दिया। नड्डा ने कहा कि टीबी मुक्त भारत के दृष्टिकोण को लाग करने के लिए राष्ट्रीय रणनीतिक योजना को क्रियान्वित किया गया है। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने टीबी से निपटने के लिए निजी प्रतिबद्धता दिखाई है क्योंकि भारत की 2025 तक इस बीमारी के उन्मुलन की योजना है।
भारत-चीन में सीमा प्रबंधन पर चर्चा
बेजिंग, 27 सितंबर (भाषा)।
भारत और चीन के महत्त्वपूर्ण सीमा तंत्र की गुरुवार को बैठक हुई। इसमें सीमाई क्षेत्रों के प्रभावी प्रबंधन और आपसी विश्वास बढाने के मकसद से विश्वास बहाली उपायों पर विचार किया गया। भारतीय दूतावास की ओर से जारी बयान में बताया गया कि भारत चीन सीमा मामलों पर विचार-विमर्श और समन्वय के लिए कार्यकारी तंत्र (डब्लूएमसीसी) की 12वीं बैठक सिचुआन के चेंगदु शहर में हुई। बयान में कहा, 'दोनों पक्षों ने भारत-चीन सीमाई क्षेत्रों की स्थिति की समीक्षा की। उन्होंने वुहान शिखर वार्ता में दोनों देशों के नेताओं द्वारा उपलब्ध कराए गए सामरिक मार्गदर्शन के मृताबिक सीमाई क्षेत्रों के प्रभावी प्रबंधन पर विचार-विमर्श किया।'
