Nice completes the acquisition of ACM, a leading Italian player in the automation solutions for shutters and awnings
Oderzo (TV - Italy), 8 October 2018 - On the basis of the agreements reached - as already disclosed in the press release published on 11 June 2018 - we are pleased to announce that today, following the satisfaction of the contractual conditions precedent, Nice S.p.A. – an international leader in the fields of Home Automation and Home Security - has completed the acquisition of 100% of ACM, a Rome-based provider of automation solutions for shutters and awnings, for a total price of 11.9 million euros, to be paid in instalments.
The purchase was financed through own funds and credit facilities already available to the Group.
Founded in the 1970s, in Pomezia, by the Lanzoni family, with the aim of offering technical solutions in step with the times and the capacity to enter to new markets, ACM is a leading provider of solutions for the automation of roller shutters and awnings with 2017 turnover of approximately 17 million euros, mainly generated outside Italy, in more than 40 countries worldwide.
The acquisition is considered "non-significant" under the terms of Article 71 of the Issuers' Regulation and the criteria set out in Annex 3B of the said Issuers' Regulation.
