Villingen-Schwenningen, September 30, 2014: NEXUS AG,
Villingen-Schwenningen, has acquired the majority of the shares in MARABU
EDV -Beratung und -Service GmbH, Berlin. The acquisition took place on
September 25. With about 40 employees, the company is among the market
leaders in archiving solutions within the healthcare sector.

Digital archiving and process-driven document management are essential for
process-optimized and digitized hospitals. Currently, hospitals are
increasingly investing in these solutions.
Today, more than 100 hospitals and hospital groups work with "Enterprise
Content Management" from MARABU.

Thanks to the acquisition, NEXUS is enhancing its portfolio of clinical
information systems for hospitals, homes and rehab facilities with an
archiving solution. At the same time, "diagnostic departmental systems"
will also benefit from the portfolio enhancement.

With this product enhancement, NEXUS is enabling its customers to integrate
archiving processes fully into their clinical information system and
acquire the solution from a single source.
