NEXUS AG: Doubling of result and strong increase in sales in third quarter

Villingen-Schwenningen, November 22nd, 2007: NEXUS AG, listed in Prime
Standard, had sales of KEUR 17,110 in the first nine months 2007 compared
to KEUR 21,389 in the previous year (+25.0%) and achieved a substantially
better operating result before taxes of KEUR 1,493 compared to KEUR 736
(+103%) in the previous year.

Sales in the core business, Healthcare Software, increased by 30.2% to KEUR
18,450 (previous year: KEUR 14,172) in the first nine months. The
Healthcare Service Division recorded sales of 2,938 following KEUR 2,939 on
the same level. The EBTDA of the Group increased to KEUR 4,480 (previous
year: KEUR 3,354) in the first nine months of 2007. The foreign share was
approx. 42% following 32% in the previous year.

The result after taxes improved from KEUR 592 to KEUR 1,065 (+80%). NEXUS /
PASCHMANN GmbH, Oberhausen, is included in the figures as of June 1st,
2007.

The third quarter closed with sales of KEUR 8,150 following KEUR 6,069 in
the previous year (+34.0%). Sales increases in the Healthcare Software
remain the driving force and rose by 45.5% to KEUR 7,379 (previous year:
KEUR 5,072) in the third quarter. The result before taxes amounted to KEUR
888 (previous year: KEUR 172) in the third quarter.
As of 30 Sept 2007, the balance sheet of the NEXUS AG showed equity capital
of about 43.0 million €. Cash, cash equivalents, securities and receivables
account for 25.6 million euros, against which there are no substantial
financial liabilities.
NEXUS develops and sells software and complete solutions for supporting
medical and administrative processes in the healthcare system. NEXUS
solutions make it possible for hospitals, rehabilitation and social
institutions to structure treatments more efficiently and with a higher
degree of quality. Digitalization includes not only in-house processes, but
also integrated healthcare, which ensures data exchange between primary
care physicians, hospitals and rehabilitation clinics.

Over 300 employees of the NEXUS group are developing Software- and
IT-Solutions which is daily used by about 54.000 users in 17 countries
worldwide.
