The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. —————————————————————————— Villingen-Schwenningen, May 27, 2005 Nexus AG, specialized in medical software, was able to increase sales by 91% to KEUR 5,031 in the first quarter 2005 from KEUR 2,628 in Q1/2004. The operating result before taxes improved, compared to the same period of the previous year from KEUR -374 to KEUR 229 (+ KEUR 603). Particularly sales in the Healthcare Software Division amounted to KEUR 3,928 in the first quarter of 2005 (previous year: KEUR 1,377). The Healthcare Service Division was a little declining in the first quarter 2005 with KEUR 1,251 (Q1/2004). In the numbers the consolidation of micom GmbH, Munich, is included for the first quarter for the first time. The EBITDA improved considerable from KEUR 193 (Q1/2004) to KEUR 1,033 about KEUR 840. The cash flow from current business operations was lower than the previous year at KEUR -29 (Q1/2004: KEUR 744), which is due to reduced liabilities and outstanding debits. Furthermore the international sales in the Health Care Software Division developed positive. The sales share achieved 20,1% in the first quarter. NEXUS AG has a healthy balance sheet situation. The amount of liquid funds remains high at 16 million euros and ensures the financing of the long-term objectives of the company.
