Nexus AG: Improved earnings and sales as of September 30, 2004.

Villingen-Schwenningen, November 26, 2004: Nexus AG, specialized in medical software reports sales of KEUR 10,152 in the first nine months of the current fiscal year following KEUR 8,784 in the same period of the previous year (+ 16%). The result before taxes is KEUR -586 following KEUR -749 in the first nine months of 2003 (+KEUR 163). The EBITDA was TEUR 1,318 in the first nine months 2004 (Jan. – Sept. 2003: TEUR 757) and exceeded the previous year’s value by KEUR 561. Related to the third quarter 2003, sales rose from KEUR 2,767 to KEUR 3,839 (+ 39%). The third quarter 2004 showed a decrease in the result before tax of KEUR 73 to KEUR -64 (Q3 2003: KEUR 9). The Cash Flow from operating activities improved by KEUR 3,054 from KEUR 75 in the first nine months 2003 to KEUR 3,129. Cash and cash equivalents rose again compared to the third quarter 2003 and compared to December 31st, 2003. The amount of liquid funds on September 30, 2004 is KEUR 16,457 (31.12.2003: KEUR 15,904). In the numbers the consolidation of micom GmbH, Munich, is included for a period of four months. NEXUS AG has a high level of orders on hand from national and international customers.
