The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– NEXUS with positive results in the first quarter Villingen-Schwenningen, 10th May 2001. NEXUS AG, Villingen-Schwenningen, which is listed on the New Market, reports a turnover of DM 11,0 Mio. and a small profit of DM 0,1 Mio. in the first 3 months 2001. The EBITDA amounts to DM 0,49 Mio. Compared to the first quarter of 2000, the profit improved by DM 1,4 Mio. coming from a DM -1,3 Mio. loss. The turnover is DM 4,2 Mio. lower than last year, however, in the previous year’s figures DM 13,3 Mio. turnover and a DM 0,3 Mio. profit of FOREST Products & Services GmbH were consolidated. In the current quarter, FOREST Products & Services GmbH is not anymore consolidated- except of the IT-Services-Unit which had been acquired form Forest Products & Services GmbH in September 2000. NEXUS emphasises the outstanding growth in its core segment Healthcare Software which shows an increase in turnover of 178 % to DM 5,3 Mio. The profit of this segment increased from DM -1,2 Mio. in 2000 to DM 0,8 Mio. in the first quarter 2001.
