Villingen-Schwenningen, August 30, 2001: NEXUS AG , which is listed on the Neuer Markt, reported net sales of DM 17.5 million in the first six months of fiscal 2001. Especially important is the growth of the core business Health Care Software.In this business area sales climbed 96% to DM 9.4 million. These sales numbers, however, cannot be compared to the results in the second quarter 2000 (DM 28.3 million) since the sales of Forest Products & Services GmbH (2000: DM 23.5 million) were not consolidated after having sold the shareholdings in this company in 2000. The net result of DM -1.3 million has been improved significantly by DM 2.9 million coming from DM -4.2 million the year before. Earnings in the core business Health Care Software (2000: DM -2.3 million) gained DM 2.5 million and achieved a net result of DM 0.2 million. With a 24 % share, the international sales contribute more and more to the success of the company. In the previous year 10 % of the sales were based on international orders.
