The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– Positive Development in the Core Business Villingen-Schwenningen, November 30, 2001: NEXUS AG, which is listed on the Neuer Markt, reported net sales of DM 24.5 million in the first nine months of fiscal 2001. In its core business “Healthcare Software” sales climbed 59 % to DM 11.8 million. In the business unit “Healthcare Service” sales of DM 12.7 million were achieved. A comparison to last year’s results is not possible since the IT- Service business units were founded on October 1st 2000. The net result of DM -2.3 million has been significantly improved compared to the year-before period (DM -8.7 million). The result in the core business, Healthcare Software, rose by DM 4.4 million, achieving earnings of DM 0.1 million. A further positive aspect is the international business which contributes 26 % of the Healthcare Software sales in the first nine months. Despite the general positive trend, NEXUS AG does not anticipate to achieve the forecasted sales of DM 57.0 million and a slightly positive result by the end of 2001.
