The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– Stefan Burkart is nominated as CSO of NEXUS, following Helmut Scherer Villingen-Schwenningen, 14 May 2001, Stefan Burkart (42) will be appointed by the supervisory board to join the board of directors at the day of the shareholders meeting on 26.06.01. Mr. Burkart will follow Mr. Scherer, who will resign on this date. Mr. Burkart has been member of the supervisory board of NEXUS AG so far and is known as an expert of the health care market for many years. Mr. Scherer will act as an active advisor at the companys disposal until the end of the year. Stefan Burkart, who has studied business administration, was managing director of the company ZEHNACKER GmbH from 1992 to 1998. (ZEHNACKER is acting in the facility management and is specialist for services in the health care sector in Germany, Austria, Poland and Switzerland) and has been owner of the BODENSEE INSTITUT in Radolfzell since 1999. Mr Burkart has been responsible for the development and management of the field facility management of the TECHNOLOGIE MANAGEMENT GROUP since 1999. In 2001 he has initiated the Facility Management Fair in Dusseldorf. Furthermore, Mr. Burkart was member of the board of directors of the German Association of Facility Management GEFMA from 1996 until 1998, and chairman of the advisory board of INTERHOSPITAL (Deutsche Messe AG Hannover).
