Press release Paris, 22 May 2013
Crédit Agricole Assurances, by way of its life insurance subsidiary Predica and with the assistance of Crédit Agricole Immobilier, has signed an agreement to acquire Eco Campus, a 72,000 sq.m office complex under construction in Châtillon, a southern suburb of Paris.
This complex is co-developed by Nexity and Interconstruction under a VEFA contract for the sale of premises pending completion, provisionally scheduled for delivery in H2 2015.
Eco Campus will be situated on a three-hectare plot, near the city centre of Châtillon and close to public transport links (metro and tramway). The design for the complex consists of five office buildings with a maximum capacity of 4,900, together with a building offering services for users (restaurants, cafeteria, conference room, show room, etc.), connected by a landscaped park covering more than one hectare in total.
The architectural design for the project is the work of Bridot & Willerval, the highly esteemed team behind the EOS complex in Issy-les-Moulineaux (headquarters of Microsoft France) among other notable achievements. Eco Campus complies with the latest building standards and aims to achieve environmental certification to both HQE (high environmental quality) NF-Bâtiments Tertiaires 2012 and BREEAM Very Good.
Eco Campus, for which construction work has already begun, has been let to Orange who will use it as its new innovation campus.
