Director dealing and change to a significant shareholder

Newmark Security plc (AIM: NWT), a leading provider of electronic and physical security systems, announces that Marie-Claire Dwek, Chief Executive Officer of the Company, has purchased 2,500,000 ordinary shares of 1p each of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") by way of an off-market transfer at a price of 1p per share from Mr Elie Dwek (uncle of Marie-Claire and brother of Newmark's Chairman, Maurice Dwek).

Following the completion of this transfer, Marie-Claire Dwek will have a total beneficial interest in 2,500,000 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.53 per cent of the total issued share capital of the Company.

Mr Elie Dwek is a significant shareholder of the Company pursuant to the AIM Rules for Companies and with this disposal of Ordinary Shares, Mr Dwek is now interested in 69,700,000 Ordinary Shares, representing 14.87 per cent of the total issued share capital of the Company.
