New Frontier Minerals Limited
("NFM" or the "Company")
Drilling Underway at Harts Range Heavy Rare Earth and Niobium Project, NT, Australia
New Frontier Minerals Ltd (LSE and ASX: NFM) is pleased to announce the commencement of its maiden ~2,500m reverse-circulation (RC) drill program to test the depth extensions of the near surface mineralisation at the Harts Range Heavy Rare Earths and Niobium Project, located 140km north-east of Alice Springs in the Northern Territory, Australia.
Highlights:
· 2,500m RC Drilling underway at Harts Range targeting dysprosium-terbium-rich HREE systems
· The campaign comprises up to 46 reverse circulation (RC) holes, targeting multiple high-priority anomalies defined through regional geophysics, detailed geological mapping and surface geochemistry completed by the NFM team over the past 12 months
· The campaign is designed to test the depth extension of the heavy rare earth mineralisation, with particular attention to dysprosium and terbium - critical elements in high-performance permanent magnets used in electric vehicles, wind turbines, and advanced defence technologies
Gerrard Hall, Chairman, commented:
"This marks an exciting milestone for New Frontier Minerals as we commence our maiden drill program at Harts Range. The project has already returned outstanding heavy rare earth and niobium grades at surface, including high-value dysprosium and terbium, highlighting its strong potential.
"Our reverse circulation (RC) program is specifically designed to test the depth continuity of these mineralised systems and assess the scale of the high-grade HREE nature of the mineralisation identified to date. With all approvals secured, the team is well positioned to deliver meaningful technical results. We anticipate drilling will be completed before the end of the year, with assay results expected early in the new year."
MAIDEN DRILLING CAMPAIGN
The RC drilling campaign will comprise up to 46 drill-holes for ~ 2,500m to test the numerous prospects that have been identified from the exploration activities undertaken at Harts Range over the past 12 months (Figure 1).
With logistics and site preparation complete, GeoDrill have mobilised to site and commenced the maiden drill program which has been designed to test depth extensions to the near-surface zones of high-grade heavy rare earth and niobium mineralisation, identified from field campaigns (Figure 2).
