Item 8.01 Other Events.

On October 16, 2017, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court of the Southern District of New York issued an order approving Network-1 Technologies, Inc.'s settlement of its patent litigation against Avaya, Inc. pending in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, Tyler Division, for infringement of Network-1's Remote Power Patent (U.S. Patent No. 6,218,930). Anchor Network-1 Technologies, Inc. issued a press release on September 22, 2017 and filed a Current Report on Form 8-K on September 26, 2017 regarding the terms of the Settlement with Avaya (which was subject to approval by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court of the Southern District of New York).
