Trading Update

Netcall plc (AIM: NET), a leading provider of low-code and customer engagement software, today announces the following trading update for the 12 months ended 30 June 2018:

The Board is pleased to report on a transformational year, driven by the successful acquisition and integration of the market leading low-code platform provider, MatsSoft. Strong order inflow and the ongoing transition to a higher proportion of SaaS-based contracts, means adjusted EBITDA for the year is expected to be approximately 20% higher than the prior year at £5.4m (FY17: £4.5m).

The strategic fit between the MatsSoft and Netcall offerings has been demonstrated through initial cross and up-sales, alongside new international sales and partnership deals. This has resulted in significant revenue growth for MatsSoft compared to the prior period and a return to revenue growth of the Netcall business. Other highlights of the year include MatsSoft being the only UK vendor recognised in the newly published Gartner Magic Quadrant for high productivity platforms and the renewal of MatsSoft's largest customer in a four-year contract worth a minimum of £3.7m.

At 30 June 2018 net debt was £0.7m comprising £5.8m of cash less £6.5m of loan notes.

Henrik Bang, CEO of Netcall, commented: "We are delighted with the success of MatsSoft which, in the year of its acquisition and integration, performed well. Low-code is accelerating digital transformation by putting the power of software creation into the hands of business users and organisations are still in the early stages of adopting this technology. With the current strong sales pipeline, the Board believe Netcall is well positioned for ongoing success."
