Net Insight receives first order on channelized IP on Nimbra 600

STOCKHOLM, Sweden – Net Insight, a leading developer of efficient and scalable transport solutions for media, IP and broadcast networks, has received new orders from a major European media network operator to broaden the existing Nimbra network.

The European media network operator is a leading provider of content management and worldwide transmission services for professional broadcast delivery.

The media operator will futher expand existing Nimbra network in order to offer additional services to customers internationally. The network expansion includes distribution of compressed video to TV channels around the world as well as contribution of video from a European football league. The order received will include channelized IP on the Nimbra 600 platform. The channelized IP on Nimbra 600 will give the media operator the possibility to utilized cost-efficient IP connectitivty for their media services.

Net Insight's channelized IP on Nimbra 300 was announced early 2009 and now the same functionality is introduced into Nimbra 600.
