Net Insight to supply Nimbra equipment for mediaXstream network extension

Stockholm, Sweden –Net Insight, leading developer of efficient and scalable optical transport solutions for media, IP and broadcast networks, today announced a new order from mediaXstream for a further extension of their multi service video transport service network.

In April, mediaXstream launched its new network using Net Insight's Nimbra platform to carry real-time traffic for professional media companies across the U.S. The network offers high capacity transmissions using Net Insight's Nimbra platform to deliver uncompressed and compressed HD or SD video and data services.

With the Nimbra platform, mediaXstream can guarantee exceptional service delivery for its customers and is now facing growing needs and demands from the customer base. This network extension will cover new sites in the US, Canada and UK. The Nimbra equipment will be delivered during the second quarter.
