Net Insight receives additional order for Digital Terrestrial TV network in East European country

Stockholm, Sweden – Net Insight, leading developer of efficient and scalable media transport solutions for media, IP and QoS critical broadcast networks, has received an additional order from a customer in an East European country for the next phase of the Digital Terrestrial TV distribution network.

The DTT network will be based on Net Insight's Nimbra platform to distribute uncompressed and compressed video (HD-SDI, SD-SDI and ASI) across the country. The network will also provide scalable multicast capabilities and incorporate Net Insight's unique Time Transfer feature for GPS-free time synchronization. The solution also includes Nimbra Vision, a complete tool for efficient operation and maintenance of the Nimbra network.

The expansion order was received in cooperation with a strong systems integrator partner that provides engineering, design, installation and support services across countries in Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

Deliveries will start during the first quarter of 2009.
