REQUEST FOR VOLUNTARY SUSPENSION
Reed Resources Ltd (Reed) refers to its request on 17 October 2012 for a trading halt in relation to its ordinary shares (ASX: RDR), pending an announcement regarding project funding.
Pursuant to Listing Rule 17.2, Reed requests an immediate voluntary suspension on the trading of its securities. The suspension is necessary as details of the project funding are currently being finalised.
Reed requests the suspension until such time as an announcement regarding the project funding is made. Reed anticipates being able to make an announcement prior to the commencement of trading on Monday, 22 October 2012. Reed expects that the voluntary suspension will end on release of the announcement referred to above.
Reed is not aware of any reason why the voluntary suspension should not be granted and does not have any other information about the voluntary suspension that is necessary to inform the market.
