Pursuant to Listing Rule 17.1, Reed Resources Ltd (ASX Code: RDR) (Company) requests an immediate trading halt in relation to its ordinary shares pending an announcement regarding a capital raising.
The Company anticipates being in a position to make an announcement regarding the capital raising prior to the commencement of trading on Thursday, 24 February 2011.
The Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted or of any other information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
