BOARD CHANGE

Reed Resources Ltd (ASX: RDR) ( Reed or the Company ) announces the pending retirement from the board of its non-executive director Dr Vanessa Guthrie.

Dr Guthrie has given notice of her retirement effective from the close of the AGM on 20 November 2013. She has cited the increasing commitments of her workload as Managing Director of Toro Energy as the reason for her retirement. Dr Guthrie has said that she leaves knowing that the Company is repositioned soundly as it refocusses on its revised strategic direction.

David Reed, chairman of the Company commented “Vanessa has made a significant contribution to the Reed board over recent years and we will be very sorry to see her go. However, as a junior mining house ourselves, we understand only too well the pressures of office that are carried by CEO’s in this sector. We wish Vanessa and Toro well.”

The Reed board intends to recruit a new independent non-executive director with relevant experience and knowledge in advanced materials to add to the skill base of its board as the Company focuses on its titanium and lithium assets. It is hopeful to be able to secure such a person by no later than early in the New Year.
