Nemetschek Meets Forecast Ad-hoc-announcement transmitted by DGAP. The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– Nemetschek Meets Forecast Munich, February 19, 2003. Based on preliminary numbers, the Nemetschek Group has slightly exceeded its sales and profit forecast (revised in November 2002) for fiscal 2002. The Nemetschek Group is one of the leading vendors of software and consulting services for the design, construction and management of buildings and real estate. Sales revenues for the year amounted to EUR 105 million (previous year: EUR 124.4 million); operating profit including special expenditures totaled EUR -8 million (previous year: EUR -35.5 million, including special goodwill amortization). Nemetschek’s operating profit without special expenditures amounted to EUR -1 million. As of December 31, 2002, liquid assets increased to EUR 21 million (previous year: EUR 17.0 million). The company’s overall business development remained unsatisfactory, due to continued reluctance to invest in the IT sector and a continuing economic downturn in the construction industry, Nemetschek’s most important customer segment. During the past business year, Nemetschek initiated a restructuring program to implement comprehensive measures for increasing efficiency and reducing costs. As a result, Nemetschek has already significantly lowered operating expenses during the 2002 business year. For the 2003 business year, Nemetschek expects economic conditions to remain difficult. At the same time, the Board expects a return to profitability due to the promising results of the restructuring program and new market activities, based on the existing liquidity cushion. The Nemetschek Group will announce the final numbers at the press briefing on annual results in Munich on March 26, 2003.
