Resolution Limited hereby confirms that its wholly

owned subsidiary, Friends Provident International

Limited, acquired the beneficial interest in

1,500,000 subscription rights to purchase ordinary

shares in DiaGenic ASA (ISIN NO0010081235) on 31

March 2014. The registered owner of the rights is

Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken Sweden. The purchased

rights represent 18.75% of the current issued share

capital of DiaGenic (1.39% of the issued share

capital of DiaGenic following the completion of the

rights issue).

Friends Provident International Limited is controlled

by the companies noted below (i.e. Friends Life and

Pensions Limited being its parent company, and each

company being controlled by the company named below

it):

DiaGenic is making a fully under-written rights issue

of 100,000,000 new shares, each with a nominal value

of NOK 0.20. The subscription period commenced on 17

March 2014 and is expected to expire at 17.30 on 31

March 2014. DiaGenic has announced that the new

shares are expected to be listed and tradeable on

Oslo Bors on 9 April 204.
