Item 2.02 Results of Operations and Financial Condition.

On August 5, 2021, Nektar Therapeutics, a Delaware corporation (“Nektar”), issued a press release (the “Press Release”) announcing its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2021. A copy of the Press Release is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1.

On July 27, 2021, Nektar announced that it would hold a Webcast conference call on August 5, 2021 to review its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2021.
