Warrant Exercise and Total Voting Rights

Echo Energy plc, the South and Central American focused upstream gas company, announces that as a result of a warrant exercise at a price of 3 pence per share the Company has issued 499,999 new ordinary shares of 0.25p each in the Company (the "New Ordinary Shares").

Application has been made for the New Ordinary Shares, which will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares, to be admitted to trading on AIM ("Admission") and dealings are expected to commence at 8.00 a.m. on 26 January 2018.

Following Admission, the total number of ordinary shares and voting rights in the Company will be 402,003,697 (no ordinary shares are held by the Company in treasury). This number may be used by shareholders (and others with notification obligations) as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
