Notice of General Meeting

Echo Energy plc, the Latin American focused upstream oil and gas company, announces that a notice convening a General Meeting ("GM") of the Company has today been posted to shareholders.  

The GM is to be held on Tuesday 7 September 2021 at 5:00p.m. at the offices of Fieldfisher LLP, Riverbank House, 2 Swan Lane, London EC4R 3TT.

Shareholders are advised that the purpose of the GM is to seek approval of authorities in relation to the allotment of shares in the Company as set out in the covering letter attached to the Notice of GM.

A copy of the Notice of GM is available on the Company's website at www.echoenergyplc.com  

Despite the relaxation of social distancing and gathering restrictions on 19 July 2021, there remains some uncertainty as to what regulations or public health guidance may be in place at the time of the General Meeting (GM), given the possibility of changing Covid-19 case numbers following publication of the Notice of GM. In light of this uncertainty, the Board strongly encourages shareholders to consider carefully whether it is necessary for them to travel to and attend the GM in person.
