We confirm that the Nationwide Building Society (the Issuer under the Programme) does not fall under Article 5.1 or 5.2 of COUNCIL REGULATION (EU) No 833/20I4 of 3I July 20I4 concerning restrictive measures in view of Russia's actions destabilising the situation in Ukraine (as amended by COUNCIL REGULATION (EU) No 96012014 of 8 September 2014, published in the Official Journal of the EU on 12 September 2014). We conf"rrm that we will inform the UK.LA as soon as practicable if our circumstances change and the conf"rrmation above is no longer valid.
