Nationwide Building Society EUR30,000,000 2.31% Notes due February 2036 issued pursuant to its European Note Programme

We hereby confirm the following agreement for the issue of EUR30,000,000 2.31% Notes due February 2036 under the above Programme pursuant to the terms of issue set out in the Final Terms which we are attaching herewith.

The net proceeds of the issue are EUR30,000,000 which, subject to the provisions of the Programme Agreement, will be paid to or to your order on the Issue Date specified in the Final Terms.

The Notes are to be credited to Euroclear account number 90997 in the name of Nomura International plc.

Please confirm your agreement to the terms of issue by signing and sending back to us a copy of the following Final Terms. Please also send a copy of the Final Terms to the Agent and the Trustee.
