Item 1.01 Entry into a Material Definitive Agreement

On November 6, 2018, National Health Investors ("NHI") issued a press release announcing details of its entry into a lease amendment with its tenant, an affiliate of Holiday Retirement. The text of that press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated by reference herein. The Amendment to Master Lease and Termination of Guaranty is attached as Exhibit 99.2 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is also incorporated by reference herein.
