MyState Limited – Director Changes

Hobart, Wednesday 27 September 2017

MyState Limited (ASX:MYS), the ASX-listed banking and wealth management group, today announced the appointment of Andrea Waters and Warren Lee as Non-Executive Directors with effect from the close of the company’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday 19 October 2017.

MyState Chairman, Mr Miles Hampton, said: “We are very pleased to announce the appointment of Andrea and Warren as part of our Board renewal plan.

Andrea Waters is an experienced auditor and a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand with over 30 years experience in Financial Services. She is a former partner with KPMG specialising in Financial Services audit. She is currently a Non-Executive Director of Cash Converters International Limited, Care Super, Bennelong Funds Management Group and Citywide Service Solutions Pty Ltd.

Warren Lee is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and has extensive experience and a long record of leadership in the international financial services industry, including 15 years at AXA in senior management positions within the company’s Australian and Asian businesses. Warren's two most recent executive positions were Chief Executive Officer of the Victorian Funds Management Corporation and Chief Executive Officer, Australia and New Zealand for AXA Asia Pacific Holdings Limited. He is currently a Non-Executive Director of Tower Limited.

Andrea and Warren will bring extensive experience to the Board and we look forward to their contribution.”

Mr Hampton also announced that Non-Executive Director, Colin Hollingsworth will retire at the close of the AGM on 19 October 2017.

“Colin has made a very significant contribution to the business over a long period of time. He was Chairman of the former CPS and Island State Credit Union’s and a Non-Executive Director of the MyState Financial Credit Union. In 2009 he was appointed as a Non-Executive Director of MyState Limited and has been Chairman of the Group Audit Committee through his tenure. On behalf of my fellow Directors, shareholders, staff and customers I would like to thank Colin for his hard work and dedication to the business.”
