Appointment of non-executive director

Hobart, Tuesday 22 November 2016

MyState Limited (ASX:MYS), the ASX-listed banking and wealth management group, today announced the appointment of Ms Sibylle Krieger as a non-executive director with effect from 1 December 2016.

MyState Chairman, Mr Miles Hampton, said: “We are very pleased that Sibylle Krieger has agreed to join the board of MyState Limited. Sibylle brings to the board a legal background and extensive experience as a non-executive director across a range of industries and we look forward to her contribution.”

Ms Krieger has 35 years of broad commercial experience as a lawyer, economic regulator and nonexecutive director. She was a partner in two large commercial law firms for 22 years.

Ms Krieger is currently the non-executive chair of Xenith IP Group Limited (ASX:XIP) and a nonexecutive director of Australian Energy Market Operator Ltd and the Tasmanian Water and Sewerage Corporation. Ms. Krieger is trustee of the Sydney Grammar School and a non-executive director of its Foundation. She was formerly a director of Sydney Ports Corporation and Allconnex Water and a trustee of the Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain Trust.
