Tom Taylor joins MyState Limited as interim CFO

Hobart, Friday, 15 April 2013: MyState Limited today announced that Tom Taylor will replace Paul Viney as Chief Financial Officer. Mr Viney will leave the organisation at the end of April.

With an extensive career in banking and financial services, Mr Taylor has been appointed for a fixed term contract until November 2013, allowing MyState Limited to consider longer term arrangements.

From 1995 to 2000, Mr Taylor was Chief Financial Officer for AMP Bank and was the lead executive responsible for setting up AMP Bank’s banking, financial and treasury operations in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. In 2001, Mr Taylor was appointed as Cuscal’s Chief Financial Officer and since 2008 he has held a number of non-executive roles in the superannuation sector and consulted to banking organisations including MyState.

John Gilbert, MyState Limited’s Managing Director, said, “Tom has significant and extensive experience in the financial services sector and will be a valuable addition to our Executive team while we consider our longer term options.”
