SECOS Placement to Strategic Investor

Sustainable and eco-friendly bioplastics developer SECOS Group Limited (ASX: SES, “SECOS” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce Armytage Private (“Armytage”), one of Australia’s oldest boutique fund managers, has made a strategic investment in the Company.

Armytage has invested $500,000 via placement of ordinary shares in the Company at $0.04 per share. Armytage Chairman, Mr Lee lafrate who is responsible for portfolio management of Armytage’s IMA service, sector & stock analysis, as well as equity and options dealing, completed the investment on behalf of the fund with the aim to increase the fund’s exposure to the fast-growing clean tech industry.

Mr lafrate said; “We are very excited to invest in SECOS Group which operates in the high growth biopolymer market and has demonstrated strong improvement in its performance over the last year and is showing substantial progress in capitalising on the move to replace traditional plastic products in the waste stream”.

SECOS Chairman, Richard Tegoni said; “We are delighted to have such a high-quality fund manager as Armytage take a strategic investment in our company. The investment will support our R&D efforts, growth initiatives, and further strengthen the company’s balance sheet.”
