RESULTS OF SHARE PURCHASE PLAN (“SPP”) AND DESPATCH OF HOLDING STATEMENTS

The Board of Cardia Bioplastics Limited (“Cardia”) is pleased to announce that a total of $399,000 was raised through SPP that was offered to shareholders and which closed on 20 December 2012.

The funds raised will be used for general working capital purposes.

Allotment and Issue of the 199,500,000 new ordinary shares pursuant to the SPP offer has been completed and holding statements will be despatched today.

An Appendix 3B applying for the quotation of new shares allotted and issued under the SPP Offer is attached.

The Board of Cardia wishes to thank all shareholders who participated in the SPP offer for their continuing support to the Company.
