PLACEMENT OF PART OF SHORTFALL FROM RIGHTS ISSUE

As previously announced the ordinary shares offered to eligible shareholders on a 1:3 basis at 1.5 cents per share resulted in a Shortfall of 137,420,096 shares.

In terms of the Offer Document and in accordance with the Corporations Act ,the Directors reserved the right to place the Shortfall shares within 2 months of the closing of the Offer (20 September 2010)

As at 15[th] October 2010 the Directors have placed 34,674,356 of the Shortfall shares raising a further $520,115 for a total to date of $2,166,796 from the Rights Issue. Holding Statements for these Shortfall shares will be despatched today 15[th] October 2010.

An Appendix 3B applying for the quotation of the Shortfall shares placed and allotted under the Rights Issue is attached.

The Directors are currently negotiating the placing of the balance of the Shortfall (approx $1.5m) with several local and overseas institutions.
