DIRECTOR APPOINTMENT

The Board of Cardia Bioplastics Limited (“Cardia” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Gideon Meltzer as a non-executive director of the Company.

Mr. Meltzer’s qualifications include Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Law along with a Graduate Diploma in Taxation Law from Monash University.

Mr. Meltzer comes with significant Capital Markets and Corporate and Commercial experience having served as General Counsel and Company Secretary at an ASX S&P 200 company and smaller capped listed companies where he advised the boards on a range of corporate transactions and governance.

He has held a number of senior positions at top tier and mid tier legal firms and prior to establishing GM Legal & Corporate Advisory of which he is principal, Mr Meltzer was a partner in the Corporate Practice Group of Cornwall Stodart.

Mr Meltzer’s practice spans a number of sectors including Start-ups and Technology, Food & Agriculture (including sustainability and carbon projects), Property, Financial Services and Funds Management, Mining, Mining Services and Oil & Gas. He also advises SME private clients and emerging business entrepreneurs on a range of fund raising initiatives, financial products and mergers & acquisitions transactions. Mr Meltzer is also a Director & Co-founder of Easy Law, an online legal marketplace.

The Directors welcome appointment of Mr. Meltzer and look forward to his contribution to the Company.
