DIRECTOR RESIGNATION

The Board of Cardia Bioplastics Ltd (“Cardia” or “the Company”) advises that Mr.Pat Volpe has resigned as a Director of Cardia to pursue his other business interests.

The Board of Cardia would like to thank Mr.Volpe for his valuable work and ongoing support to the Company. As the founding Director and Chairman, Mr. Volpe has provided great service to Cardia over the past 19 years and the Board acknowledges his efforts for the development of bioplastics business over the past 5 years.

Mr.Volpe remains a major shareholder of Cardia and has advised that he will be available to the Company to provide assistance on an as need basis.

Appendix 3Z outlining Final Director’s Interest Notice for the outgoing Director Mr.Volpe is attached.
