Munters has signed a nationwide agreement with Skanska
Munters Torkteknik AB has been selected as a nationwide supplier of water damage restoration services in Sweden by the Swedish construction company Skanska.
Munters Torkteknik AB (MTT) is a part of Munters' MCS division which is a market leader within waterand fire damage restoration, with services also for construction drying, leak detection and moisture surveys. Skanska, an international leader in project development and construction-related services, will with this agreement, get access to nationwide resources to address the critical water damage that may arise in connection with the construction of buildings. MTT will act as general contractor for water damage management and provide Skanska with the necessary equipment and services for damage restorations.
"With Munters as a nationwide supplier, we can more quickly handle unforeseen water leakage in our projects in a quality assured manner, which means that any secondary damage is minimized for us and our customers", says Peter Brander, moister expert at Skanska. Per continues: "We have a strong focus on economical construction, and this agreement is in line with Skanska's ambitions to minimize the environmental impact of buildings."
Streamlining and simplifying the purchase and management of water damages is a trend in the insurance industry both in Sweden and many other countries in Europe.
"It is an important agreement and yet another example on how our ability to deliver customized services nationwide has become a competitive advantage. We have been working with developing and coordinating the methods and the documentation used in our property damage restoration for a long time. It enables us to keep a consistent quality of the work we do all over the country. High availability results in fast action in case of emergency, which is key when it comes to limiting damages.
