The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– Muehlbauer 9-Month-Figures – positive development continues – Roding, 07.10.2003 – According to preliminary figures, Muehlbauer Holding AG & Co. KGaA (WKN 662720; ISIN DE0006627201), the worldwide supplier of innovative technology solutions for the security industry, again increased order income as well as sales in the third Quarter. Order income increased from EUR 21.7m. in Q3/2002 to EUR 22.4m in Q3/2003, an increase of 3.5 %. All in all the technology group’s order book rose to EUR 73.3m during the first three quarters, a considerable increase of 18.2 % compared to the reference period in 2002 (EUR 62.0m). Sales grew by 4.7 % to EUR 23.1m (Q3/2002: EUR 22.1m). During the first nine months sales grew from EUR 63.9m in 2002 to EUR 69.9m in 2003, an increase of 9.5%. Order backlog as of September 30, 2003 totalled EUR 31.5m, 16.5 % lower than in the reference period of 2002 (EUR 37.8m).
