Quartal 2000 fort – 80 Prozent mehr Umsatz im ersten Halbjahr Das organische Wachstum von Mühlbauer hat sich nach den vorläufigen Zahlen auch im II. Quartal des Geschäftsjahres 2000 kontinuierlich fortgesetzt. Der Konzernumsatz übertrifft im Berichtsquartal mit über 28 Mio. EUR den Vergleichswert des Vorjahres (16 Mio. EUR) um mehr als 12 Mio. EUR. Damit liegt das Unternehmen um 78 Prozent über dem Vorjahresniveau. Die Höhe des Umsatzes betreffend, hat Mühlbauer das stärkste Quartal seit dem Börsengang zu verzeichnen. Im Vergleich zum ersten Halbjahr 1999 (28,1 Mio. EUR) steigert sich der Umsatz im ersten Halbjahr 2000 um knapp 80 Prozent auf 50,5 Mio. EUR. Das Unternehmen verbucht von April bis Juni einen Ordereingang von mehr als 26 Mio. EUR. Das bedeutet eine Zunahme von knapp 32 Prozent im Vergleich zum Vorjahresquartal (19,7 Mio. EUR). Im Halbjahresvergleich beläuft sich der Auftragseingang auf 57 Mio. EUR und liegt damit um über 79 Prozent über den ersten sechs Monaten des Vorjahres (31,8 Mio. EUR). Zum 30.06.2000 lässt sich der Auftragsbestand auf 34 Mio. EUR (Vorjahr 18,9 Mio. EUR) beziffern; das ist eine Steigerung um über 80 Prozent. Für das Gesamtjahr 2000 zeichnet sich eine anhaltend hohe Nachfrage nach innovativen Fertigungslösungen zur Herstellung von Smart Cards, SmartLabels und LEDs ab. Nach den vorliegenden Ergebnissen der ersten sechs Monate des Geschäftsjahres 2000 beabsichtigt der Vorstand, die Umsatzprognosen für das Jahr 2000 nach oben zu korrigieren. The group’s turnover has surpassed the reference value of the previous year (EUR 16 million) by more than EUR 12 million with over EUR 28 million in the report quarter. Sales have increased by 78 percent in comparison with the last year’s standard. Concerning sales, Mühlbauer has quoted the strongest quarter since IPO. Compared to the first half-year 1999 (EUR 28.1 million), sales have increased by almost 80 percent to EUR 50.5 million in the first half-year 2000. Mühlbauer’s order income has amounted to more than EUR 26 million from April to June. This means an increase of almost 32 percent in comparison with the last year’s quarter (EUR 19.7 million). The incoming orders of EUR 57 million have exceeded the first six months’ order income of the previous year (EUR 31.8 million) by more than 79 percent. The order backlog has been EUR 34 million in the second quarter (previous year EUR 18.9 million); this means an increase of over 80 percent. A continuously high demand for innovative production solutions for Smart Cards, Smart Labels and LEDs is expected for the complete year 2000.
