Quartal 2000 bestätigt Mühlbauer hat das organische Wachstum vorläufigen Zahlen zufolge auch im III. Quartal 2000 konsequent fortgesetzt und in Bezug auf Auftragseingang und Umsatz am Ende des Berichtszeitraumes bereits das gesamte Vorjahr übetroffen. Aufgrund der anhaltend hohen Nachfrage nach schlüsselfertigen Lösungen für alle denk-baren SmartCard- und Semiconductor-Anwendungen verbucht das High-Tech-Unternehmen von Juli bis September einen Ordereingang von knapp 39 Mio. EUR und erzielt damit einen neuen Quartalsrekord in seiner Firmengeschichte. Das bedeutet trotz des hohen Vorjahres-niveaus von 30,7 Mio. EUR eine erneute Zunahme von 26 Prozent. Bezogen auf die letzten neun Monate klettert der Auftragseingang auf 95,8 Mio. EUR und liegt damit um mehr als 53 Prozent über dem Vergleichszeitraum des Vorjahres (62,5 Mio. EUR). Absolut gesehen, hat der Konzern damit zum 30.09.2000 bereits das gesamte Vorjahr (92,2 Mio. EUR) über-troffen. Der Konzernumsatz übertrifft im Berichtsquartal mit 26,4 Mio. EUR den Vergleichswert des Vorjahres (16 Mio. EUR) um mehr als 64 Prozent. Im Vergleich zu den ersten neun Monaten 1999 (44,2 Mio. EUR) steigert sich der Umsatz im Vergleichszeitraum 2000 um knapp 74 Prozent auf 76,9 Mio. EUR und übertrifft bereits den Umsatz des Gesamtjahres 1999 (71 Mio. EUR). Aufgrund der nachhaltig positiven Geschäftsentwicklung und des zum 30.09.2000 vorhandenen Auftragsbestandes von 45,2 Mio. EUR (Vorjahr 33,3 Mio. EUR) beabsichtigt der Vorstand, das im August 2000 für das Gesamtjahr 2000 von ursprünglich 85 Mio. EUR auf 100 Mio. EUR angehobene Umsatzziel erneut nach oben zu korrigieren. Mit der vor kurzem planmässig erfolgten Übergabe der baulichen Investition an das Kompetenzzentrum Stollberg werden die zur Serienproduktion von hochpräzisen Teilen und komplexen Systemen notwendigen Kapazitäten nahezu verdoppelt. Auch die Ausweitung der Flächen am Hauptsitz in Roding ist in vollem Gange und verläuft planmässig. Der erste Bauabschnitt wird bereits am 1. Dezember 2000 bezogen. Due to the continued high demand for turnkey solutions for all imaginable SmartCard and semiconductor applications, the high-tech company has recorded an order income of almost 39 million EUR from July to September, and has thus achieved an all-time quarter record in its company’s history. This means a further increase of 26 percent, despite the high level of the previous year, which amounted to 30.7 million EUR. Based on the last nine months, order income has climbed to 95.8 million EUR, and thus to over 53 percent above the comparable period of the previous year (62.5 million EUR). In absolute terms, the Mühlbauer Group has thus already surpassed the total year 1999 (92.2 million EUR) as of 30 September 2000. With 26.4 million EUR, turnover has surpassed the comparable value of the previous year (16 million EUR) during the report period by over 64 percent. In comparison to the first nine months of 1999 (44.2 million EUR), turnover in the comparable period of 2000 has risen by almost 74 percent to 76.9 million EUR, thus already surpassing turnover for the total year of 1999 (71 million EUR). Due to the continued positive development of business and order backlog, valued at 45.2 million EUR as of 30 September 2000 (previous year: 33.3 million EUR), the Board of Directors intends to correct once again the turnover goal upwards for the total year 2000, which in August 2000 was raised from originally 85 million EUR to 100 million EUR. With the recent transfer of construction investment to the competency centre in Stollberg, which took place according to schedule, the capacities necessary for series production of highly-precise components and complex systems have been practically doubled. Expansion of the space in the main office in Roding is also fully underway and running according to plan. The first construction segment will be ready to be moved into already on 1 December 2000.
