Item 8.01. Other Events.

On October 23, 2023, the Board of Directors (“Board”) of Mueller Water Products, Inc. (the “Company”) declared an increase to the Company’s quarterly cash dividend by approximately 4.9% to $0.064 per share from $0.061 per share. The dividend will be paid November 20, 2023, to shareholders of record on November 9, 2023.

A copy of the press release issued October 24, 2023 announcing the dividend is attached and furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this current report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
