Uns wurde mit Schreiben vom 10. Januar 2011 folgendes mitgeteilt:

Threadneedle Asset Management Holdings SARL, Luxembourg, Luxembourg, gives
notice pursuant to sec. 21 para. 1 WpHG that on January 5, 2011 the voting
rights in MTU Aero Engines Holding AG exceeded the threshold of 3 % and
amount to 3,007 % (1,563,571 voting rights) as per this date.

3,007 % (1,563,571 voting rights)are attributable to Threadneedle Asset
Management Holding SARL pursuant to sec. 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 6 in
connection with sent. 2 WpHG. 0,10% (50,910 voting rights) of these voting
rights are also attributable according to sec. 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1
WpHG.
