Uns wurde mit Schreiben vom 09. März 2011 folgendes mitgeteilt:

Threadneedle Asset Management Holdings SARL, Luxembourg, Luxembourg, gives
notice pursuant to sec. 21 para 1 WpHG that on 04.03.2011 the voting rights
in MTU Aero Engines Holding AG felt below the threshold of 3% and amount to
2,91% (1,511,292 voting rights) as per this date.

2,91% (1,511,292 voting rights) are attributable to Threadneedle Asset
Management Holdings SARL pursuant to sec. 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 6 in
connection with sent. 2 WpHG. 0.10% (53,019 voting rights) of these voting
rights are also attributable according to sec. 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1
WpHG.
