Ameriprise Financial, Inc., Minneapolis, USA gives notice pursuant to sec.
21 para. 1 WpHG that on 27.05.2011 the voting rights in MTU Aero Engines
Holding AG felt below the threshold of 3% and amount to 2,97% (1,546,188
voting rights).

2,97% (1,546,188 voting rights) are attributable Ameriprise Financial, Inc.
pursuant to sec. 22 para.1 sent. 1 no. 6 in connection with sent. 2 WpHG
WSpHG. 0,07% (37801 voting rights) of these voting rights are also
attributable according sec. 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG.
