MT Educare Limited (MTEL), a leading Education support and coaching services provider in India announced its unaudited consolidated financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2021.
MTEL (at Consolidated Level)
The company in Q1 FY21 posted Total Revenues at Rs.19.35 Cr as compared to Rs. 23.35 Cr in Q1 FY20.
The company in Q1 FY21 posted EBITDA of 8.64 Cr as compared to Rs. 9.11 Cr in Q1 FY20.
The company in Q1 FY21 posted PAT of (Rs. 0.71 Cr) as compared to (Rs. 1.89 Cr) in Q1 FY21.
MTEL (at Standalone Level)
The company in Q1 FY21 posted Total Revenues at Rs.13.69 Cr as compared to Rs. 13.99 Cr in Q1 FY20.
The company in Q1 FY21 posted EBITDA of Rs. 5.60 Cr as compared to Rs. 3.85 Cr in Q1 FY20.
The company in Q1 FY21 posted PAT of (Rs. 1.10 Cr) as compared to (Rs. 4.41 Cr) Cr in Q1 FY20.
Mr. Parag Ola, WTD, said, “Current period witnessed continuous evolution in the knowledge landscape, including technology aided learning/education delivery across the segment, this quickly changing landscape and ecosystem offers a range of opportunities. The need is to be flexible, innovative and to have a visionary approach. MT Educare Ltd continued its business operations with constant focus on delivering quality education to the learners. Covid-19 had brought the business to a grinding halt the world over and that affected MT Educare Ltd as well. Thereafter we have witnessed a Second Covid wave during the peakadmission season which has resulted there has been a negative impact of the Covid 19 outbreak on the Company’s operation.
The Company continued to provide coaching for the ongoing courses “on line” and thus transitioned the same from physical coaching model to an “on-line” model. The Company has also taken strategic initiatives to introduce “on line” courses alongside physical classroom courses going forward and thus has taken efforts to keep the disruption in the business to the minimum.
