Pursuant to Regulation 30 read with Part A of Schedule Ill of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 it is hereby informed that t he BLA cel l of Ministry of Steel vide its letter No. F.No. 8/1/2018-BLA dated 11 .10.2019 has appointed Shri Surinder Kumar Gupta as Chairman & Managing Director of MSTC Limited w.e.f. 01.12.2019.

It is confirmed t hat Shri Surinder Kumar Gupta is neither related to any director of the Company nor been debarred from holding the office by virtue of any order of SEBI/ any other authority.

Further, it is also informed that Shri Barn Bahadur Singh (DIN -03212787) on attaining the age of Superannuation on 30th November, 2019 has ceased to be Chairman & Managing Director of MSTC Limited with effect from the close of business hours on 30th November, 2019.

Profile of Shri Surinder Kumar Gupta

Shri Surinder Kumar Gupta is Bachelor of Engineering from NIT/ Kurukshetra and M. Tech. from PEC Chandigarh. After serving as lecturer in NIT /Kurukshetra for 2 years, he has joined Indian Railway Stores Service. He has 31 years rich experience of materials management activities involving Procurement/Warehousing of materials required for manufacture, maintenance and operations in Indian Railways as well as global procurement for purchase of sophisticated machinery etc. He has shouldered important assignments spread over various states like Gujarat, Maharashtra, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. While working in Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS)/ New Delhi, he has been instrumental in design, development and implementation of Indian Railways E-Procurement and as E-Auction Systems which are widely used by all Indian Railways Zones and Production Units.
